DAD'S LITTLE PRINCESS

Looking back, I recall moments spent on your knees 

when it came to my worst concerns.

You showed up to wipe my tears away.

 However, as time passed, the years flew past.

 With a sigh, I'll have to say

 You needed me just as much as I needed you.

 and those were such sad moments

 But now we're back together as a family.

 I know there's a lot in store for me, 

and I'm looking forward to it.

 You always seem to be aware of when I require a smile.

 especially if it's been a while since you've seen one 

 We always seem to be on the same page.

 Despite the fact that their ages are vastly different

 We have a knack for making each other laugh.

 It also accelerates the passage of time.

That's why, Daddy, I'm so grateful for you.

I'd never ask for someone new.

I adore you so much.

 because you assist me with all of my concerns and other issues

I'm sure you wish you could gift me the entire planet.

But I'm satisfied with my position.
